Private sitting, one signature

Signature Walkthrough

You bring one signature. Hana Seo sits with you at the oak table and reads that Solana transaction in the order the chain stores it: signatures, header, account keys, instructions, fee, balances, and logs.

90 minutes · ₩85,000 per seat

Who it is for

The sitting is for someone who already has a Solana signature and wants each field named in plain English. Visitors often arrive with a transfer they sent, a program call that failed, or a sample signature copied from a public block.

It also suits a colleague who must explain that same transaction to a bookkeeper, a cofounder, or a class the next day. The hour is built for one reader at the pencil. A second person may sit in and listen if the desk is told when you reserve.

Price and place

Fixed seat rate for one signature. A second signature is a separate booking.

Think Compass reading room, Namdong-gu, Incheon

The listed rate is informational. A 30 percent deposit, paid by bank transfer after the desk confirms the time, holds the seat.

Included

  • Ninety minutes at the oak table with Hana Seo
  • Retrieval and printout of one confirmed transaction
  • A spoken pass through the header, account keys, each instruction, the fee, pre and post balances, and the log lines
  • Pencil notes on the printout, which you keep
  • Barley tea at the table

Outside the hour

  • A second signature, which needs its own sitting
  • Signing, submitting, or storing a transaction
  • Wallet setup, seed phrases, or custody of any account
  • Tax, legal, or investment opinion
  • A written memo after you leave; the printout and your notes are the record

How the time is spent

  1. The signature changes hands

You arrive with the signature written on paper. Hana checks that it is a base58 signature of the usual length, then retrieves the confirmed transaction and prints the fields. If the signature is still unconfirmed or unknown to the cluster you named, the sitting pauses while you choose another one from the library’s sample folder.

  2. Header and fee payer

You read the signatures array and the message header together: how many signers are required, which signed accounts are read-only, and which unsigned accounts are read-only. The first account is the fee payer. You mark it on the printout before any instruction is discussed.

  3. Account keys, then instructions

Each account key is listed with its signer and writable flags. Only then do you open the instructions. For each one, Hana names the program, the accounts it receives by index, and what the data is doing in words. Versioned transactions get an extra pass over the address lookup table so loaded accounts are not mistaken for static keys.

  4. Fee, balances, logs

The meta section is last: the fee in lamports, pre and post balances, compute units consumed, inner instructions, and the log lines. If the transaction failed, you stop on the error and reread only the instruction that raised it.

  5. You leave with the paper

The printout, with your pencil marks, goes with you. The room does not keep a copy of your signature after the day ends. Sample signatures from the library folder stay in the folder.

What to bring

  • The signature written by hand on paper, plus the cluster you mean (mainnet-beta is the usual one)
  • A notebook if you want a second set of notes beyond the printout
  • Ten spare minutes before the hour so the printout is on the table when you sit

Constraints

The room hosts one walkthrough at a time. The table seats the reader and at most one listener.

Visitors under 16 come with a parent or guardian. The material is dense, and the hour is not shortened for that reason.

Recording other visitors is refused. You may photograph your own printout.

If the signature points at a transaction that is very large, Hana will read every instruction header and the logs, and will go line by line only through the instruction you care about. She will say so at the start.

Reserve

Write to the desk with the session name, a preferred day, and the signature if you already have it on paper. Expect a reply within two working days. The reading room page lists hours and how the table is shared.
