What this browser is asked to remember
Think Compass uses a small piece of browser storage so the consent banner does not return on every page. This note was revised on 21 September 2026. The privacy notice explains the rest of the personal information we handle.
What cookies are
A cookie is a short record a site asks your browser to keep and send back later. Similar storage, including localStorage, stays on the device and is not automatically sent with every request. We use localStorage for the consent choice because the choice only needs to exist in this browser.
Types we use
Essential storage remembers whether you pressed Accept or Reject. The site does not load an analytics script, and it does not set analytics cookies. Rejecting the banner leaves every page, form, and booking path available. Accepting does not turn on a tracker. Both buttons only record the choice you made.

Third-party cookies
Pages are served from thinkcompass.click. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which may set or receive connection data under Google’s own policy when your browser fetches the typefaces. We do not embed advertising, social plugins, or an analytics suite. If a font host sets a cookie, it is that host’s cookie, and you can block third-party cookies in the browser without losing the reading-room pages.
How to manage or disable storage
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. To change your mind, clear site data for thinkcompass.click in your browser settings and reload; the banner returns. You can also block localStorage or cookies entirely in the browser. The pages still open. The banner will be unable to stay dismissed, which is the only change you should notice.
Impact of disabling
Disabling storage does not block sessions, the contact form, or the guides. You may see the banner again on later visits. Blocking fonts may change the typeface to your browser default. The words stay the same.
